  Master Jason Wadley began his martial art training in 1980. Dedicating himself to martial arts, Master Wadley has achieved many prestigious awards and commendations. Master Wadley began training at the age of 10 yrs old with his four brother’s and mother lillian under the direction of Grand Master H.U. Lee and his two brother’s Master Jee Ho Lee and Grand Master In Ho Lee. Other Masters and Grand Master’s include Grand Master Burl Parson (JuJutsu), Grand Master Scott McNeely, Grand Master Robert Hardin, Grand Master Park Jung Tae, Grand Master Kong Young Ill and Grand Master J. Pat Burleson. Master Wadley continue’s to train and help proliferate Taekwondo throughout the world. Master Wadley has traveled around the world teaching, training and competing. Master Wadley’s technical ability and knowledge of Taekwondo earned him the title of Technical advisor and director of training  for the Unite United Taekwondo Alliance.  Master’s and Instructor’s from around the world travel to train with Master Wadley. We are fortunate to have him here in the Brazosport area.
History of Master Wadley’s training

1980 Began Training in Little Rock Arkansas with his family Farren, James, Darren, Lee and Mother Kay.

1983 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo

1984 Certified Taekwon-Do Instructor

  • Ranked #2 in the USA in the ATA national point standings.

1985 2nd Degree Black Belt and ATA National Champion

  • Opened first Taekwondo club in Otter Creek, Arkansas

1987 Promoted to Chief Instructor Lee’s TKD Little Rock Arkansas

  • Certified Instructor –Pressure Point Control Tactics and promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt-TKD
  • Appointed Regional Chief of Instruction ATA
  • Appointed Regional Director Louisiana and Mississippi
  • First trip to train in Korea and part of the American/Korean Demo Team

1989 Won Second National Championship

  • ATA and earned black belt in Karate
  • Awarded “Most Prestigious Instructor” award ATA by Grand Master H.U. Lee of the ATA
  • Promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt Taekwon-Do

1990 Started working with Master Buddy Hudson at Little Rock Taekwondo

1991 Gold Medal at Pan-American Games in Buenos Aries, Argentina

1992 Silver Medal sparring First GTF World Championships – Oslo Norway

1994 Gold Medal GTF Goodwill Championships North Little Rock, AR

  • Gold Medal USTF/GTF World Championship Moscow, Russia
  • USTF National Champion
  • Appointed Board of Directors USTF

1995 Became Vice President Martial Arts Management Systems

  • Bronze Medal European GTF World Championships, Sardinia, Italy
  • 1st Degree Black Belt in Weeping Willow Style Jujutsu
  • Gold Medal GTF World Championships St Louis, MO
  • Promoted to 5th Degree Black Belt TKD

1996 Gold Medal GTF/USTF Goodwill Championships North Little Rock, AR

  • Certified Instructor Certificate – Spontaneous Knife Defense Course MARS

1998 Appointed Regional Director South Texas USTF

2000 2nd Degree Black Belt Jujutsu

  • Promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt TKD

2002 Coach USTF/WTA competition team

2002 USTF Ambassador award

  • Inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame
  • Won National Leadership Award USTF

2003 Appointed Secretary General USTF (1 year term)

  • Instructor of the Year USTF

2004 Inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame

  • Promoted to 3rd degree Black Belt Jujutsu

2005 Became Vice President United Jujutsu Alliance

  • Formed Black Belt Management consulting firm

2006 Appointed to Membership Director USTF

  • Developed the Executive Black Belt Program
  • became certified in Homeland Security level III

Promoted to 7th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo

Master Wadley was promoted to 7th degree Black Belt in July of 2006. Among his testing committee were some of the world’s highest ranking and most prestigious Grand Masters. Among them was Grand Master Nam Tae Hi. Grand Master Nam is recognized as the Grand Master of GrandMasters. He along with General Choi Hong Hi is credited with creating Taekwon-Do as martial art style.

2007 Became Director of Training and Technical Advisor for United Taekwon-Do Alliance

  • Formed Homeland Defense Tactics
  • Authored three books on defense tactics EBBP

2008 Became President of the United Taekwondo Alliance

2009 Licensed Body Guard through the State of Texas,

  • Earned the Senior Military Management Specialist badge
  • Earned Military marksmanship pistol badge (Expert)
  • Graduated the TXSG NCO Recruiter course
  • Graduated with honors the TXSG Advanced Non Commissioned Officer Course -Lackland Air Force Base San Antionio, Texas -

2010 Head Coach of UTA/USA World Taekwondo Team – England

  • became a TXSG Basic Orientation Training Instructor for new troops coming into the Texas State Guard.

2011 – Head Coach of USA/UTA Taekwondo Team USA Event in Tulsa, OK.

2012 – Became a certified Incident Response to terrorist Bombings Instructor through New Mexico Tech University.    

  • 2012/2013 Head coach for the USA/UTA Taekwondo Team traveling to Scotland.
  • Promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in Weeping Willow Style Jujutsu
  • Promoted to 8th Degree Black Belt November 2, 2012

Master Wadley has competed and performed martial art demonstrations in over 20 countries and thirty four states.

Currently Master Wadley is actively training and teaching. He is very involved with community based civic organizations. He is a member of the International Rotary club and holds the rank of Staff Sargent with the Texas State Guard. His interest and hobbies include all forms of martial arts, shooting, hunting, fishing, history and traveling.
